Food Relief

Food Relief

At various times, life can get tough and having enough food can be a struggle.

With rising living costs and many people out of work due to COVID, Bayside Community Care aims to relieve the burden by providing emergency food relief for anyone struggling financially and needing food supplies.

Food hampers are accessible fortnightly by arrangement. Please call ahead of your visit.

To be eligible for a hamper a Health Care Card or Pension Card needs to be shown. Hampers are currently only available for those living in the City of Kingston and the following suburbs: Beaumaris, Black Rock, Sandringham and Hampton.

Bayside Community Care also welcomes non-perishable food donations from the community such as coffee, tea, pasta, rice, tinned food, cereal, UHT milk and pasta sauces. These donations can be delivered to us between Tuesday to Thursday during business hours.
