Matt’s Place

People experiencing economic hardship or social isolation are welcomed to enjoy the comforts of a home-cooked meal and friendship at Matt’s Place Community Meals program in Cheltenham and Chelsea.

Matt’s Place, open every Tuesday and Thursday, provides warm hospitality for those doing it tough or are isolated. A two-course meal and opportunity for connection and social interaction are provided. Since the pandemic, the program has operated as a take-away service, however, plans are in place to return to dining.

At Matt’s Place Cheltenham, sit down dining is available for all guests. Take-away meals are also available for those who do not want to dine in.

Matt’s Place Chelsea will reopen dining on May 10. Both vaccinate and unvaccinated guests can enter the dining hall and takeaway meals are available for those who are not comfortable to dine in.

For takeaway meals, guests can arrive at Chelsea on Tuesdays from 10am-1pm.
