International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate the achievements of women and reflect on the work still to be done for equality. This year’s theme, “Balance the Scales,” is a call for fair, inclusive, and accessible justice and equality for all women and girls, recognising that current systems still disadvantage them through discriminatory laws, harmful practices, and structural barriers in safety, legal access, and opportunities.

Join us for an inspiring evening with Jo Knight, CEO of Anglican Overseas Aid. Jo has over 20 years of experience championing Christian responses to poverty and climate justice, both in Australia and globally. She has helped shape the Church’s response to major social challenges through movements such as Renew Our World and the Australian Micah Coalition, and continues to serve in governance.

At the supper, Jo will focus on how we can “balance the scales” by caring for both people and the planet, exploring practical ways to make a difference in our communities and beyond.
