As a proud partner of Capital Punishment Justice Project (CPJP), Bayside Community Care is honoured to support a special screening of GUILTY at Bayside Church on Wednesday, 10 June.
The powerful film explores the final 72 hours of Australian Myuran Sukumaran before his execution in Indonesia in 2015 and offers an important opportunity to better understand the human impact and cruelty of capital punishment.
The evening will also feature Christie Buckingham, President of Bayside Community Care, who served as Myuran’s spiritual director and witness in his final moments, and will share reflections on justice, mercy, hope, and second chances. All proceeds from the event support CPJP’s ongoing work to end capital punishment worldwide.
